所罗门王把圣殿建完以后，又开始盖自己的王宫。
After King Solomon finished building the temple, he began to build his own royal palace.
这王宫可不小，整整盖了十三年。圣殿才只用了七年左右，可王宫却盖了十三年，可见规模之相当大。
This royal palace was no small building—it took a full thirteen years to complete. The temple took only about seven years, but the palace took thirteen years, which shows just how enormous it was.
让我们参观一下儿。首先，所罗门盖了一座叫 “黎巴嫩林宫”的宫殿。
Let’s take a look around. First, Solomon built a palace called the “Palace of the Forest of Lebanon.”
这房子又长又宽又高，里面用了很多香柏木做柱子和房梁，看起来s十分气派。
This building was long, wide, and tall. It had many cedar-wood pillars and beams, making it look very grand and impressive.
接着，他又盖了一个柱廊，前面还有一个门廊。
Next, he built a hall of pillars, with a porch in front of it.
然后，他又给自己盖了一个审判大厅。以后有什么案件、百姓有什么纠纷，都会在那里坐堂审判。
Then he built a judgment hall for himself. Whenever there were legal cases or disputes among the people, he would sit there and judge them.
这些房子的里面，很多地方都用香柏木包起来，显得特别漂亮、豪华。
Many parts of the inside of these buildings were covered with cedar wood, making them especially beautiful and luxurious.
所罗门自己的宫室建在一个内院里。除此以外，他还盖了其他一些房子。
Solomon’s own palace was built in an inner courtyard. Besides that, he also built several other buildings.
他还专门给自己的妻子——法老的女儿——盖了一座宫室。
He also built a palace especially for his wife—the daughter of Pharaoh.
这些宫殿可不是随便盖的，使用的都是上好的石头。石头先按照尺寸凿好，再用锯子把里面外面都锯得整整齐齐。
These palaces were not built with ordinary materials. They were made with the finest stones. The stones were first cut to the required measurements and then sawed smooth and even on both sides.
从房子的地基，一直到屋檐的大石头，甚至整个院子的墙，都用了这些漂亮、结实的石头。
From the foundation of the buildings all the way to the large stones of the roof, and even the walls of the entire courtyard, these beautiful and sturdy stones were used.
就连耶和华圣殿的内院，也是用三层凿好的石头，加上一层香柏木梁建成的。
Even the inner courtyard of the temple of the LORD was built with three layers of cut stone and one layer of cedar beams.
后来，所罗门王从推罗找来了一个非常厉害的工匠，名字叫户兰。
Later, King Solomon brought a very skilled craftsman from Tyre. His name was Huram.
户兰的母亲是拿弗他利支派的寡妇，父亲是推罗人，是个铜匠。
Huram’s mother was a widow from the tribe of Naphtali, and his father was a man of Tyre who worked as a bronze craftsman.
这个户兰可不是一般的工匠，他非常有智慧、聪明，也特别有手艺，什么铜器都能做。
This Huram was no ordinary craftsman. He was very wise, intelligent, and highly skilled, and he could make all kinds of bronze work.
于是，户兰来到所罗门王这里，王让他负责制作圣殿里各种铜制的东西。
So Huram came to King Solomon, and the king assigned him to make all kinds of bronze items for the temple.
户兰首先铸造了两根非常大的铜柱。
First, Huram cast two enormous bronze pillars.
每根柱子大约十八肘高，十二肘粗。
Each pillar was about eighteen cubits high and twelve cubits in circumference.
柱子上面还有漂亮的柱顶，柱顶上有网子、链子、石榴和百合花等装饰，做得特别精致。
The pillars also had beautiful capitals on top, decorated with latticework, chains, pomegranates, and lilies. They were made with great detail and craftsmanship.
所罗门把这两根大铜柱立在圣殿门口。
Solomon placed these two great bronze pillars at the entrance of the temple.
右边那根叫“雅斤”，左边那根叫“波阿斯”。
The pillar on the right was called “Jachin,” and the pillar on the left was called “Boaz.”
就这样，两根漂亮的大铜柱完成了。
And so, the two beautiful bronze pillars were completed.
接下来，户兰又做了一个非常大的铜制水池，叫做“铜海”。
Next, Huram made a very large bronze basin called the “Bronze Sea.”
这个铜海是圆形的，大约十肘宽、五肘高，周长三十肘。
The Bronze Sea was round, about ten cubits wide, five cubits high, and thirty cubits in circumference.
更特别的是，下面不是普通的柱子，而是有十二头铜牛托着。
What made it especially remarkable was that it was not supported by ordinary pillars, but by twelve bronze oxen.
十二头牛分成四组，每组三头，铜海就放在这十二头牛上面。
The twelve oxen were divided into four groups of three, and the Bronze Sea rested on top of them.
铜海边缘做得像杯子的边，也像百合花，非常漂亮。
The rim of the Bronze Sea was made like the rim of a cup and also like a lily, making it very beautiful.
这个大铜海可以装下大约二千罢特的水，容量非常大。
This great Bronze Sea could hold about two thousand baths of water, so it had a very large capacity.
户兰还制造了十个巨大的铜盆。
Huram also made ten large bronze basins.
每个盆都是四肘长、四肘宽、三肘高，而且下面还装了四个轮子，可以移动。
Each basin was four cubits long, four cubits wide, and three cubits high, and each one had four wheels underneath so that it could be moved.
盆的周围有漂亮的装饰，上面刻着狮子、牛和基路伯的图案。
The basins had beautiful decorations around them, with designs of lions, oxen, and cherubim carved on them.
这些铜盆全部按照同样的方法制造，做得非常精美。
All ten bronze basins were made in the same way and were crafted with great beauty and detail.
除了这些东西，户兰还制造了铜坛、铜铲、铜碗等等。
Besides these things, Huram also made bronze altars, bronze shovels, bronze bowls, and other items.
可以说，圣殿里面需要的各种铜制器具，户兰基本都给做好了。
You could say that Huram made nearly all the bronze furnishings and utensils needed inside the temple.
所罗门把这些器具全部搬进圣殿，放到指定的位置。
Solomon brought all these furnishings into the temple and placed them in their proper positions.
然后，他又把他父亲大卫王以前分别为圣、专门献给神的金银和各种器具，也拿出来，放进耶和华圣殿的府库里。
Then he brought out the gold, silver, and various furnishings that his father, King David, had previously dedicated to the LORD, and placed them in the treasury of the temple of the LORD.
最后，圣殿和王宫的工程全部完成了。
Finally, all the work on the temple and the royal palace was completed.
