以利沙解毒锅里的野菜
Elisha Purifies the Poisonous Stew
（《列王纪下》4章）
(2 Kings 4)
有一阵子，那个地方闹饥荒，粮食短缺。
For a while, there was a famine in that area, and food was scarce.
门徒们都围坐在以利沙跟前。
The disciples were all gathered around Elisha.
以利沙跟手下人说：
Elisha said to his servant:
“你去把大锅架在炉子上，给我的门徒们熬点汤喝。”
“Go put the large pot on the fire and make some stew for my disciples to eat.”
有一个人想师父你不是跟我说笑吧，哪还有吃的！
One of them thought, “Master, you’ve got to be kidding! Where are we supposed to find any food?”
于是他只能出去到田野里看看有没有什么野菜可以挖回来。
So he had no choice but to go out into the fields to see if he could find some wild vegetables to bring back.
就这样他出发了，走着走着，他一下儿瞅见一棵野瓜藤，满藤的野瓜让他满心欢喜。
So off he went, and as he was walking along, he suddenly spotted a wild vine covered with gourds, which made him very happy.
心想：这个煮汤一定很美味。
He thought, “These must make a mighty tasty stew.”
就摘了一兜子的野瓜，乐呵呵地回来了。
So he picked a whole bagful of the wild gourds and happily headed back.
回来以后，他也没告诉以利沙，直接把野瓜给切吧切吧，扔锅里给炖上了。
When he got back, he didn’t tell Elisha about them; he simply chopped them up and threw them into the pot to cook.
汤端上来以后，门徒们一看：诶呀! 没见过呀，这啥玩意儿，看着就流口水。
When the stew was served, the disciples looked at it and said, “Oh my! We’ve never seen this before! What in the world is this? It looks delicious!”
于是大家享用起来。
So everyone started eating.
可是没喝几口，有人就开始嗷嗷喊：
But after only a few bites, someone suddenly started yelling:
“诶呀！师父！这锅汤好像有毒！这不是要人命吗！”
“Oh no! Master! This stew seems to be poisonous! Isn’t this going to kill us?”
其他人谁也不敢再继续吃了。
The others didn’t dare eat another bite.
以利沙一看，就说：
When Elisha saw what was happening, he said:
“别慌，拿点面来。”
“Don’t panic. Bring me some flour.”
他们就赶紧拿了些面过来。
So they quickly brought some flour.
以利沙把面撒进锅里，然后说道：
Elisha threw the flour into the pot and said:
“现在盛出来，再给大家吃。”
“Now serve it to everyone and let them eat.”
大家觉得不太可能，但是每个人还是相信了以利沙的话。
Everyone thought this seemed pretty unlikely, but they still trusted what Elisha had said.
一口一口地吃，结果你猜。
They took one bite after another, and guess what happened.
没事儿！
Nothing happened!
锅里的毒就这样解了，大家也都痛痛快快地吃起来。
Just like that, the poison in the pot was gone, and everyone enjoyed the meal.
