“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
— Philippians 4:13 (NKJV)
Devotional Reflection:
There have been many seasons in life when I felt inadequate — whether facing uncertainty, difficult challenges, or simply the weariness of daily responsibilities. In those moments, this verse has been an anchor for my faith. Paul wasn’t saying that we can do anything we selfishly want. He was declaring that through Christ’s strength, we can endure, overcome, and fulfill God’s purpose even in hardship.
What strengthens my faith most is the reminder that my strength doesn’t have to be enough. When I feel weak, limited, or discouraged, I don’t have to manufacture courage or capability on my own. Christ’s strength is sufficient, reliable, and available. This truth shifts my focus from self-reliance to joyful dependence on Him.
Encouragement for you today:
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or unsure whether you can keep going — lean into this promise. You don’t have to be strong enough. You only need to be willing to walk with the One who is. His strength is made perfect in your weakness.
Whatever you’re facing right now, you are not alone, and you are not without power. Through Christ, you really can do all that He has called you to do.
