《列王纪上》14章
1 Kings, Chapter 14
那时候，耶罗波安的儿子亚比雅病得很重。
At that time, Jeroboam’s son Abijah became very sick.
耶罗波安就跟自己的媳妇说：
Jeroboam said to his wife:
“你赶紧起来，换一身普通人的衣服，别让人认出来你是王后。你去示罗，找那个先知亚希雅。
“Get up quickly, change into ordinary clothes, and don’t let anyone recognize you as the queen. Go to Shiloh and find the prophet Ahijah.
你还记得吧？以前就是他告诉我，我以后会当以色列的王。
You remember, don’t you? He was the one who told me before that I would become king over Israel.
你带上十个饼、几张薄饼，再带一瓶蜂蜜去找他。他会告诉你，咱们这个孩子到底能不能好。”
Take ten loaves of bread, some cakes, and a jar of honey with you when you go to him. He will tell you whether our child will recover.”
耶罗波安的媳妇就照着他说的办了。
Jeroboam’s wife did exactly as he told her.
她换好衣服，拿上东西，去了示罗，找到了先知亚希雅的家。
She changed her clothes, took the things with her, went to Shiloh, and found the house of the prophet Ahijah.
可是那时候亚希雅已经非常老了，眼睛也不好使，基本上什么也看不见。
But by that time Ahijah was very old, and his eyesight was so poor that he could hardly see anything.
但是，耶和华早就告诉亚希雅：
But the Lord had already told Ahijah:
“耶罗波安的媳妇要来问她儿子的病情。她来的时候，你就把我要告诉她的话告诉她。”
“Jeroboam’s wife is coming to ask you about her son’s illness. When she comes, tell her what I have commanded you to tell her.”
结果，这女人刚一进门，亚希雅虽然眼睛看不见，却听出了那是王后的脚步声。
As soon as the woman entered the door, Ahijah, although he could not see, recognized from her footsteps that she was the queen.
亚希雅直接说道：
Ahijah said directly:
“耶罗波安的媳妇，你进来吧！
“Jeroboam’s wife, come in!
你为什么穿着普通人的衣服，你为什么要假装成另外一个女人呢？
Why are you wearing ordinary clothes? Why are you pretending to be another woman?
我这次奉上帝的命令来告诉你一个很不好的消息。
I have been commanded by God to tell you some very bad news this time.
你回去告诉耶罗波安：
Go back and tell Jeroboam:
耶和华——以色列的上帝这样说：
This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says:
‘我本来是从普通百姓当中把你提拔出来，让你成为以色列的王。
‘I brought you up from among the ordinary people and made you king over Israel.
我还把大卫家的王国夺过来交给了你。
I took the kingdom away from the house of David and gave it to you.
可是你没有像我的仆人大卫那样听我的话。
But you have not obeyed me like my servant David did.
大卫是真心跟随我，做我看为正确的事。
David followed me with all his heart and did what was right in my eyes.
可你呢？你做的坏事比以前那些王还严重。
But you? You have done things worse than the kings who came before you.
你给自己造了别的神，又造了偶像，把我彻底惹怒了。
You have made other gods for yourself and made idols, completely provoking me to anger.
所以，我一定要降灾在耶罗波安一家身上。
Therefore, I will bring disaster upon the house of Jeroboam.
你家里的人，不管是有身份的还是普通的，不管是自由人还是奴仆，我都要从以色列中除掉。
Everyone in your household, whether important or ordinary, whether free or servant, I will remove from Israel.
我要把你整个家族清理干净，就像人把粪土彻底清出去一样。
I will completely sweep away your entire family, just as one clears away dung.
你家里的人，如果死在城里，尸体会被狗吃掉；如果死在野外，就会被天上的鸟吃掉。
Anyone from your family who dies in the city will be eaten by dogs, and anyone who dies in the countryside will be eaten by the birds of the sky.
这是耶和华说的。’
This is what the Lord says.’
至于你，现在赶紧回家。
As for you, get up and go home now.
你一进城门，你的孩子就会死。
As soon as you enter the city, your child will die.
到时候，以色列所有人都会为这个孩子哭泣，也会把他安葬。
At that time, all Israel will mourn for this child and bury him.
因为在耶罗波安全家人里面，只有这个孩子在耶和华——以色列的上帝面前还有一点善行，所以只有他能得到一个正常的葬礼。
For among all of Jeroboam’s family, this child alone has shown some goodness before the Lord, the God of Israel, and therefore he alone will receive a proper burial.
以后，耶和华还会另外兴起一个王来治理以色列。
Later, the Lord will raise up another king to rule over Israel.
这时的耶罗波安这一家就算彻底完了。
At that time, the house of Jeroboam will be completely finished.
而且，耶和华也会让以色列人受到惩罚。
And the Lord will also punish the people of Israel.
他们会像水里的芦苇一样，被风吹得东倒西歪，没有安稳的日子。
They will be like reeds in the water, shaken back and forth by the wind, with no peace or stability.
为什么会这样？
Why will this happen?
就是因为耶罗波安犯罪，带着以色列人一起犯罪。
It is because Jeroboam sinned and led the people of Israel into sin with him.
所以，上帝还要把以色列人赶出这块美好的土地，让他们被分散到大河那边。
Therefore, God will drive the Israelites out of this good land and scatter them beyond the great river.
这一切，都是因为耶罗波安制造亚舍拉，拜偶像，把耶和华彻底惹怒了。’”
All of this is because Jeroboam made an Asherah pole, worshiped idols, and completely provoked the Lord to anger.’”
亚希雅说完以后，耶罗波安的媳妇就回家了。
After Ahijah finished speaking, Jeroboam’s wife went home.
她刚走到得撒城的门口，孩子就死了。
As soon as she reached the entrance of Tirzah, the child died.
以色列人后来把孩子安葬了，也为他哭了一场。
The people of Israel later buried the child and mourned for him.
事情果然如耶和华借着先知亚希雅说的一模一样。
Everything happened exactly as the Lord had spoken through the prophet Ahijah.
后来耶罗波安一共当了二十二年的王，他死后，和他的祖先们葬在一起。
Jeroboam ruled for twenty-two years in all, and after he died, he was buried with his ancestors.
他的儿子拿答接替他，当了以色列的王。
His son Nadab succeeded him and became king over Israel.
