An animated film about the life of Jesus is being brought into children’s ministry in Nigeria.

According to Christian Daily International, Pastor Monday Edoziem, executive director of the Association of Children’s Ministry Workers in Nigeria, received permission to screen the animated film “Light of the World” and showed it to children at four locations in Nigeria during the same weekend.

At one of the screening locations, children sat on the dirt floor of a simple room as they watched the story of Jesus’ life.

According to the ministry organizers, 60 children responded to an invitation to follow Jesus at that screening.

“Light of the World” is a 2D hand-drawn animated film produced by the U.S.-based nonprofit The Salvation Poem Project. The film tells the story of Jesus—from His ministry to His suffering, death, and resurrection—from the perspective of the young John.
制作方还为教会和儿童事工提供免费的七周配套课程，包括教学材料、视频、经文背诵和相关活动，帮助教师和家长将影片内容与圣经经文联系起来。
The producers also provide churches and children’s ministries with a free seven-week curriculum, including teaching materials, videos, Scripture memorization, and related activities, helping teachers and parents connect the film’s message with Scripture.

The producers say the film and related resources will continue to be made available to ministry organizations around the world.
