2 Kings 6 — Story 73: Elisha’s Servant Sees the Chariots and Horses of Fire
那时候，亚兰王一直跟以色列打仗。
At that time, the king of Aram was continually at war with Israel.
亚兰王好几次安排军队去埋伏，想抓住以色列王。
Several times, the king of Aram sent troops to set up ambushes, hoping to capture the king of Israel.
可是以色列王每一次都能提前知道，提前躲开。
But every time, the king of Israel found out beforehand and escaped.
亚兰王就纳闷了，说：“到底是谁把我们的计划告诉了以色列王？不然他不会次次知道咱们的行动。”
The king of Aram was puzzled and said, “Who keeps telling the king of Israel our plans? Otherwise, he would not know about our movements every time.”
手下人告诉他：“王啊，可不是我们人泄密，是以色列有个先知叫以利沙，他连王在卧室里说的话都知道，然后就告诉给以色列王。”
One of his servants told him, “My king, none of us is leaking the information. There is a prophet in Israel named Elisha. He even knows what you say in your bedroom, and he tells the king of Israel.”
亚兰王一听，立马说：“去！把以利沙给我抓来！”
When the king of Aram heard this, he immediately said, “Go! Find Elisha and capture him!”
可以利沙藏在何处呢？
But where could Elisha be found?
后来有人告诉亚兰王，以利沙在多坍。
Later, someone told the king of Aram that Elisha was in Dothan.
亚兰王就派了一大帮军队、马兵和战车，趁着晚上人不知鬼不觉把多坍城团团围住。
So the king of Aram sent a large army, with horses and chariots, and during the night they secretly surrounded the city of Dothan.
第二天早晨，以利沙的仆人醒来一看，纳闷这是怎么回事！满山都是亚兰王的军队。
The next morning, when Elisha’s servant woke up and looked outside, he was shocked. The hills were filled with the army of the king of Aram.
他很害怕，赶紧跑到以利沙跟前，对以利沙说：
He was very afraid, so he quickly ran to Elisha and said:
“我的主人啊，这可怎么办啊？家外面围了一大堆士兵。”
“My master, what are we going to do? There are soldiers surrounding us everywhere!”
可，以利沙一点儿也不慌，说：
But Elisha was not afraid at all. He said:
“不用害怕！因为与我们同在的，比与他们同在的更多。”
“Do not be afraid, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”
仆人一听，还是没听明白，就又说了一遍：
The servant still did not understand, so he said again:
“师父啊，你看看，满山都是敌人啊，咱们就俩人，哪有更多人啊？”
“Master, just look! The whole mountain is filled with our enemies. There are only two of us. Where are all these other people?”
于是以利沙向神祷告，说：
Then Elisha prayed to God and said:
“耶和华啊，求你开这仆人的眼目，使他能看见。”
“Lord, please open this servant’s eyes so that he may see.”
神就开了这仆人的眼睛。
Then God opened the servant’s eyes.
他这一看，才发现不得了！
When he looked again, he realized something amazing!
满山都是火车火马，围绕着以利沙。
The mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire surrounding Elisha.
原来，神早已经安排了天军天将保护他们。
God had already sent His heavenly army to protect them.
当亚兰军队向以利沙冲过来的时候，以利沙又向神祷告，使他们的眼睛暂时看不见。
When the Aramean army came toward Elisha, Elisha prayed again, and God caused them to become temporarily blind.
以利沙就带着他们来到了撒马利亚。
Elisha then led them to Samaria.
等神再次使他们看见的时候，他们才发现自己已经到了以色列王面前。
When God restored their sight, they realized that they were standing before the king of Israel.
以色列王问以利沙：“我可以杀他们吗？”
The king of Israel asked Elisha, “Shall I kill them?”
以利沙却没有让王杀他们，反而让王给他们摆设饭食，吃喝完以后把他们送回自己的主人那里。
But Elisha did not allow the king to kill them. Instead, he told the king to prepare food for them. After they had eaten and drunk, the king sent them back to their master.
从那以后，亚兰军队也不再进以色列境内抢劫了。
After that, the Aramean raiders stopped coming into the land of Israel.
