The Global Christian Forum International Committee is convening in Rome, according to a report from the World Council of Churches.
WCC representatives shared an update on activities since the committee last met in Taizé, France, in April 2025.
The Global Christian Forum provides a space for Christians from different traditions—including evangelical, Pentecostal, Orthodox, Catholic, and other Christian communities—to meet and build relationships.
Such gatherings are significant for Christian cooperation, although participation does not mean that all Christian traditions have reached theological agreement on every issue.
Prayer Requests:
Pray for Christians from different traditions around the world. Ask God to help the Church remain faithful to Christ while practicing humility amid theological and denominational differences, so that Christians may bear witness to Jesus together.
