\nOne day, Elisha came to the town of Shunem. There was a wealthy woman there who saw Elisha passing by and warmly invited him to stay for a meal.<\/p>\n
\u540e\u6765\uff0c\u4ee5\u5229\u6c99\u6bcf\u6b21\u7ecf\u8fc7\u8fd9\u91cc\uff0c\u90fd\u4f1a\u5230\u5979\u5bb6\u5403\u996d\u3002
\nAfter that, whenever Elisha passed by, he would stop at her house for a meal.<\/p>\n
\u8fd9\u4e2a\u5987\u4eba\u5bf9\u4e08\u592b\u8bf4\uff1a
\nThe woman said to her husband:<\/p>\n

\n\u201cI can see that this man who often passes by our house is a prophet of God, a man who fears God. Why don’t we build a small room for him upstairs and put a bed, a table, a chair, and a lamp in it? Then whenever he comes, he will have a place to stay.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u4e8e\u662f\uff0c\u4ed6\u4eec\u771f\u7684\u7ed9\u4ee5\u5229\u6c99\u51c6\u5907\u4e86\u4e00\u4e2a\u5c0f\u623f\u95f4\u3002
\nSo they actually prepared a small room for Elisha.<\/p>\n
\u6709\u4e00\u5929\uff0c\u4ee5\u5229\u6c99\u6765\u5230\u4ed6\u4eec\u5bb6\uff0c\u5c31\u5728\u90a3\u4e2a\u623f\u95f4\u91cc\u4f11\u606f\u3002
\nOne day, Elisha came to their house and rested in that room.<\/p>\n

\nHe thought to himself, \u201cThis woman has taken such good care of me. What can I do for her?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u4e8e\u662f\u4ed6\u8ba9\u4ec6\u4eba\u57fa\u54c8\u897f\u628a\u5987\u4eba\u53eb\u8fc7\u6765\u3002
\nSo he told his servant Gehazi to call the woman.<\/p>\n
\u4ee5\u5229\u6c99\u95ee\u5979\uff1a
\nElisha asked her:<\/p>\n
\u201c\u4f60\u4e3a\u4e86\u6211\u4eec\u8fd9\u4e48\u8d39\u5fc3\uff0c\u6211\u80fd\u4e3a\u4f60\u505a\u70b9\u4ec0\u4e48\uff1f\u4f60\u662f\u4e0d\u662f\u6709\u4ec0\u4e48\u4e8b\u60c5\u9700\u8981\u6211\u5e2e\u4f60\u5411\u56fd\u738b\u6216\u8005\u519b\u961f\u7684\u5c06\u519b\u6c42\u60c5\uff1f\u201d
\n\u201cYou have gone to so much trouble for us. What can I do for you? Is there something you want me to ask the king or the commander of the army to do for you?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u5987\u4eba\u56de\u7b54\uff1a
\nThe woman answered:<\/p>\n
\u201c\u6ca1\u6709\uff0c\u6211\u73b0\u5728\u5728\u81ea\u5df1\u7684\u5bb6\u4e61\u4f4f\u5f97\u633a\u597d\u7684\uff0c\u6ca1\u4ec0\u4e48\u7279\u522b\u60f3\u6c42\u7684\u3002\u201d
\n\u201cNo. I am living peacefully among my own people, and I don’t have anything special to ask for.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u8bf4\u5b8c\u5987\u4eba\u8d70\u4e86\uff0c\u4ee5\u5229\u6c99\u8fd8\u662f\u89c9\u5f97\u8fc7\u610f\u4e0d\u53bb\u60f3\u4e3a\u5979\u505a\u70b9\u4ec0\u4e48\u3002
\nAfter the woman left, Elisha still felt that he should do something for her.<\/p>\n
\u57fa\u54c8\u897f\u544a\u8bc9\u4ed6\u8bf4\uff1a
\nGehazi told him:<\/p>\n
\u201c\u6211\u53d1\u73b0\u5979\u597d\u50cf\u6ca1\u6709\u5b69\u5b50\uff0c\u800c\u4e14\u5979\u4e08\u592b\u73b0\u5728\u4e5f\u5df2\u7ecf\u8001\u4e86\u3002\u201d
\n\u201cI have noticed that she seems to have no child, and her husband is now old.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u4ee5\u5229\u6c99\u5c31\u8ba9\u4eba\u518d\u6b21\u628a\u5987\u4eba\u53eb\u6765\u3002
\nSo Elisha had the woman called again.<\/p>\n
\u5987\u4eba\u7ad9\u5728\u95e8\u53e3\uff0c\u4ee5\u5229\u6c99\u5bf9\u5979\u8bf4\uff1a
\nThe woman stood at the doorway, and Elisha said to her:<\/p>\n
\u201c\u660e\u5e74\u8fd9\u4e2a\u65f6\u5019\uff0c\u4f60\u4f1a\u62b1\u7740\u4e00\u4e2a\u513f\u5b50\u3002\u201d
\n\u201cBy this time next year, you will be holding a son in your arms.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u5987\u4eba\u4e00\u542c\uff0c\u65e2\u60ca\u8bb6\u53c8\u4e0d\u6562\u76f8\u4fe1\uff0c\u8bf4\uff1a
\nWhen the woman heard this, she was both surprised and unable to believe it. She said:<\/p>\n
\u201c\u795e\u4eba\u554a\uff0c\u6211\u7684\u4e3b\u4eba\uff0c\u8bf7\u4f60\u522b\u8fd9\u6837\u9a97\u6211\uff0c\u5230\u65f6\u5019\u8ba9\u6211\u7a7a\u6b22\u559c\u4e00\u573a\uff01\u201d
\n\u201cO man of God, my lord, please don’t deceive me and give me false hope!\u201d<\/p>\n
\u6ca1\u8fc7\u591a\u4e45\uff0c\u5987\u4eba\u6000\u5b55\u4e86\u3002\u5230\u4e86\u7b2c\u4e8c\u5e74\uff0c\u4ee5\u5229\u6c99\u8bf4\u7684\u90a3\u4e2a\u65f6\u5019\uff0c\u5979\u771f\u7684\u751f\u4e86\u4e00\u4e2a\u513f\u5b50\u3002
\nNot long afterward, the woman became pregnant. And by the same time the following year, just as Elisha had said, she gave birth to a son.<\/p>\n
\u8fd9\u4e2a\u5b69\u5b50\u6162\u6162\u957f\u5927\u3002
\nThe child grew up little by little.<\/p>\n
\u6709\u4e00\u5929\uff0c\u4ed6\u8ddf\u7740\u7236\u4eb2\u5230\u7530\u91cc\u53bb\u3002
\nOne day, he went out to the field with his father.<\/p>\n
\u7a81\u7136\uff0c\u4ed6\u5f00\u59cb\u558a\uff1a
\nSuddenly, he began to cry out:<\/p>\n

\n\u201cMy head! My head hurts so badly!\u201d<\/p>\n

\nHis father quickly called a servant:<\/p>\n
\u201c\u5feb\u628a\u5b69\u5b50\u62b1\u56de\u4ed6\u5988\u5988\u90a3\u91cc\u53bb\uff01\u201d
\n\u201cQuickly carry the boy back to his mother!\u201d<\/p>\n
\u4ec6\u4eba\u628a\u5b69\u5b50\u62b1\u56de\u5bb6\uff0c\u4ea4\u7ed9\u4e86\u6bcd\u4eb2\u3002
\nThe servant carried the boy home and gave him to his mother.<\/p>\n
\u5b69\u5b50\u5750\u5728\u5988\u5988\u7684\u817f\u4e0a\uff0c\u4e00\u76f4\u5230\u4e2d\u5348\uff0c\u6700\u540e\u6b7b\u4e86\u3002
\nThe child sat on his mother’s lap until noon, and then he died.<\/p>\n

\nThe mother did not make a great commotion. Instead, she picked up the child and went to the small room upstairs. She placed her son on the bed where Elisha had slept, and then she closed the door.<\/p>\n

\nThen she went to her husband and said:<\/p>\n

\n\u201cPlease quickly prepare a donkey for me. I am going to see the man of God Elisha right away, and I will come back.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\u201cToday isn’t the New Moon or the Sabbath. Why do you want to go see him all of a sudden?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u5987\u4eba\u53ea\u8bf4\u4e86\u4e00\u53e5\uff1a
\nThe woman simply said:<\/p>\n
\u201c\u6ca1\u4e8b\uff0c\u5e73\u5b89\u65e0\u4e8b\u3002\u201d
\n\u201cIt’s all right. Everything is fine.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u5979\u5df2\u7ecf\u51b3\u5b9a\u4e00\u5b9a\u53bb\u627e\u4ee5\u5229\u6c99\u3002
\nShe had already decided that she was going to find Elisha.<\/p>\n
\u4e8e\u662f\u5979\u9a91\u4e0a\u9a74\uff0c\u5bf9\u4ec6\u4eba\u8bf4\uff1a
\nSo she mounted the donkey and said to the servant:<\/p>\n
\u201c\u4f60\u5c3d\u7ba1\u5f80\u524d\u8d76\uff0c\u9664\u975e\u6211\u544a\u8bc9\u4f60\u505c\uff0c\u5426\u5219\u4e0d\u8981\u505c\u4e0b\u6765\u3002\u201d
\n\u201cKeep going as fast as you can. Don’t stop unless I tell you to.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u5979\u4e00\u8def\u8d76\u5230\u8fe6\u5bc6\u5c71\uff0c\u53bb\u627e\u4ee5\u5229\u6c99\u3002
\nShe traveled all the way to Mount Carmel to find Elisha.<\/p>\n
\u4ee5\u5229\u6c99\u8fdc\u8fdc\u770b\u89c1\u5979\uff0c\u5c31\u5bf9\u57fa\u54c8\u897f\u8bf4\uff1a
\nElisha saw her from a distance and said to Gehazi:<\/p>\n

\n\u201cLook, isn’t that the Shunammite woman? Hurry and go meet her. Ask her, \u2018Are you well? Is your husband well? Is the child well?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
\u57fa\u54c8\u897f\u8dd1\u8fc7\u53bb\u95ee\u5979\u3002
\nGehazi ran to meet her and asked her.<\/p>\n
\u5987\u4eba\u56de\u7b54\uff1a
\nThe woman answered:<\/p>\n
\u201c\u90fd\u5e73\u5b89\u3002\u201d
\n\u201cEverything is well.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u53ef\u662f\u5f53\u5979\u7ec8\u4e8e\u89c1\u5230\u4ee5\u5229\u6c99\u7684\u65f6\u5019\uff0c\u5979\u4e00\u4e0b\u5b50\u62b1\u4f4f\u4e86\u4ee5\u5229\u6c99\u7684\u811a\u3002
\nBut when she finally reached Elisha, she suddenly grabbed hold of his feet.<\/p>\n
\u57fa\u54c8\u897f\u60f3\u628a\u5979\u62c9\u5f00\u3002
\nGehazi tried to pull her away.<\/p>\n
\u4ee5\u5229\u6c99\u5374\u8bf4\uff1a
\nBut Elisha said:<\/p>\n
\u201c\u4e0d\u8981\u62e6\u5979\u3002\u5979\u5fc3\u91cc\u975e\u5e38\u96be\u8fc7\u3002\u53ea\u662f\u4e0a\u5e1d\u6ca1\u6709\u544a\u8bc9\u6211\u53d1\u751f\u4e86\u4ec0\u4e48\u3002\u201d
\n\u201cLeave her alone. She is deeply troubled in her heart. The Lord has not told me what has happened.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u5987\u4eba\u7ec8\u4e8e\u8bf4\u51fa\u4e86\u5fc3\u91cc\u7684\u75db\uff1a
\nThe woman finally expressed the pain in her heart:<\/p>\n

\n\u201cDid I ever ask you for a son? Didn’t I tell you not to deceive me and not to give me false hope?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u4ee5\u5229\u6c99\u8fd9\u624d\u77e5\u9053\uff0c\u539f\u6765\u90a3\u4e2a\u66fe\u7ecf\u5f97\u5230\u7684\u513f\u5b50\uff0c\u73b0\u5728\u5df2\u7ecf\u6b7b\u4e86\u3002
\nOnly then did Elisha realize that the son she had received was now dead.<\/p>\n
\u4e8e\u662f\u4ee5\u5229\u6c99\u5429\u5490\u57fa\u54c8\u897f\uff1a
\nSo Elisha instructed Gehazi:<\/p>\n

\n\u201cGet yourself ready quickly and take my staff with you. Do not stop to talk with anyone on the way, and do not greet anyone. When you arrive, place my staff on the child’s face.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u53ef\u662f\u5b69\u5b50\u7684\u6bcd\u4eb2\u5bf9\u4ee5\u5229\u6c99\u8bf4\uff1a
\nBut the child’s mother said to Elisha:<\/p>\n
\u201c\u6211\u6307\u7740\u6c38\u751f\u7684\u4e0a\u5e1d\u53d1\u8a93\uff0c\u4e5f\u6307\u7740\u4f60\u7684\u751f\u547d\u53d1\u8a93\uff0c\u6211\u7edd\u4e0d\u4f1a\u79bb\u5f00\u4f60\uff01\u201d
\n\u201cAs surely as the living God lives, and as surely as you live, I will not leave you!\u201d<\/p>\n
\u5979\u610f\u5df2\u51b3\u5c31\u662f\uff1a
\nShe had made up her mind:<\/p>\n
\u201c\u4f60\u4e0d\u8ddf\u6211\u4e00\u8d77\u56de\u53bb\uff0c\u6211\u5c31\u4e0d\u8d70\uff01\u201d
\n\u201cIf you don’t go back with me, I won’t leave!\u201d<\/p>\n
\u4e8e\u662f\u4ee5\u5229\u6c99\u4eb2\u81ea\u8ddf\u5979\u56de\u53bb\u4e86\u3002
\nSo Elisha went back with her himself.<\/p>\n
\u57fa\u54c8\u897f\u5148\u8d76\u5230\u5987\u4eba\u7684\u5bb6\uff0c\u628a\u4ee5\u5229\u6c99\u7684\u6756\u653e\u5728\u5b69\u5b50\u8138\u4e0a\u3002
\nGehazi arrived at the woman’s house first and placed Elisha’s staff on the child’s face.<\/p>\n
\u53ef\u662f\u5b69\u5b50\u4e00\u70b9\u53cd\u5e94\u90fd\u6ca1\u6709\uff0c\u8fd8\u662f\u6ca1\u6709\u58f0\u97f3\uff0c\u4e5f\u6ca1\u6709\u52a8\u9759\u3002
\nBut the child showed no response. There was no sound and no movement.<\/p>\n
\u57fa\u54c8\u897f\u53ea\u597d\u56de\u6765\u544a\u8bc9\u4ee5\u5229\u6c99\uff1a
\nGehazi had to return and tell Elisha:<\/p>\n
\u201c\u5b69\u5b50\u8fd8\u662f\u6ca1\u6709\u9192\u3002\u201d
\n\u201cThe child has not awakened.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u4ee5\u5229\u6c99\u5230\u4e86\u4ee5\u540e\uff0c\u8d70\u8fdb\u623f\u95f4\uff0c\u770b\u89c1\u5b69\u5b50\u5df2\u7ecf\u6b7b\u4e86\uff0c\u8eba\u5728\u81ea\u5df1\u7684\u5e8a\u4e0a\u3002
\nWhen Elisha arrived, he went into the room and saw that the child was dead and lying on his bed.<\/p>\n
\u4ee5\u5229\u6c99\u628a\u95e8\u5173\u4e0a\uff0c\u53ea\u7559\u4e0b\u81ea\u5df1\u548c\u5b69\u5b50\u5728\u623f\u95f4\u91cc\u3002
\nElisha closed the door, leaving only himself and the child in the room.<\/p>\n
\u7136\u540e\uff0c\u4ed6\u4f0f\u5728\u5b69\u5b50\u8eab\u4e0a\uff0c\u53e3\u5bf9\u53e3\u3001\u773c\u5bf9\u773c\u3001\u624b\u5bf9\u624b\u3002
\nThen he lay upon the child, mouth to mouth, eyes to eyes, and hands to hands.<\/p>\n
\u8fc7\u4e86\u4e00\u4f1a\u513f\uff0c\u5b69\u5b50\u7684\u8eab\u4f53\u5f00\u59cb\u6162\u6162\u53d8\u6696\u3002
\nAfter a while, the child’s body began to grow warm.<\/p>\n

\nElisha got down and walked around the room once. Then he returned to the child and lay upon him again.<\/p>\n

\nAt that moment, the child suddenly sneezed seven times and opened his eyes!<\/p>\n
