\nNow, in the fifth year of Rehoboam\u2019s reign, things were not going so peacefully.<\/p>\n
\u8fd9\u4e00\u5929\uff0c\u4ece\u57c3\u53ca\u4f20\u6765\u4e86\u4e00\u4e2a\u574f\u6d88\u606f\u2014\u2014
\nOne day, bad news came from Egypt\u2014<\/p>\n
\u57c3\u53ca\u738b\u793a\u6492\u5e26\u7740\u5927\u519b\u6253\u8fc7\u6765\u4e86\uff01
\nKing Shishak of Egypt was coming with a great army!<\/p>\n
\u8fd9\u652f\u519b\u961f\u53ef\u4e0d\u662f\u4e00\u822c\u7684\u9635\u52bf\u3002
\nThis was no ordinary army.<\/p>\n
\u793a\u6492\u5e26\u7740\u4e00\u5343\u4e8c\u767e\u8f86\u6218\u8f66\u3001\u516d\u4e07\u9a6c\u5175\uff0c\u8eab\u540e\u8fd8\u6709\u4ece\u57c3\u53ca\u8ddf\u968f\u4ed6\u51fa\u6765\u7684\u5415\u6bd4\u4eba\u3001\u82cf\u57fa\u4eba\u548c\u53e4\u5b9e\u4eba\u3002
\nShishak brought 1,200 chariots and 60,000 horsemen, along with the Libyans, Sukkites, and Cushites who followed him out of Egypt.<\/p>\n

\nAt that moment, King Rehoboam and the leaders of Judah all understood:<\/p>\n

\nThings had become very serious.<\/p>\n

\nAt that very moment, Shemaiah the prophet from Shiloh came to Jerusalem and met with King Rehoboam and the leaders of Judah.<\/p>\n

\nYou have forsaken me, so I have given you into the hand of Shishak.<\/p>\n
\u201d\u8bdd\u4e00\u8bf4\u5b8c\uff0c\u7f57\u6ce2\u5b89\u548c\u4f17\u9996\u9886\u987f\u65f6\u5b89\u9759\u4e86\u3002
\nAs soon as he finished speaking, Rehoboam and the leaders became silent.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cWhy did the enemy army reach Jerusalem so quickly?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u73b0\u5728\u4ed6\u4eec\u7ec8\u4e8e\u660e\u767d\u4e86\u3002
\nNow they finally understood.<\/p>\n
\u5f53\u7136\u51e1\u4e8b\u90fd\u6709\u539f\u56e0\u3002
\nOf course, there is a reason for everything.<\/p>\n
\u662f\u56e0\u4e3a\u4ed6\u4eec\u79bb\u5f03\u4e86\u8036\u548c\u534e\u3002

\u201c\u8036\u548c\u534e\u662f\u516c\u4e49\u7684\u3002\u201d
\n\u201cThe LORD is righteous.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nWe ourselves have forsaken God, and now that these things have happened to us, we deserve what has come upon us.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u8036\u548c\u534e\u770b\u89c1\u4ed6\u4eec\u8c26\u5351\u4e0b\u6765\uff0c\u5c31\u5bf9\u793a\u739b\u96c5\u8bf4\uff1a
\nWhen the LORD saw that they had humbled themselves, he said to Shemaiah:<\/p>\n

\n\u201cSince they have humbled themselves, I will not destroy them, but I will grant them some deliverance.<\/p>\n

\nMy anger will not be poured out on Jerusalem through Shishak.<\/p>\n
\u7136\u800c\u4ed6\u4eec\u5fc5\u4f5c\u793a\u6492\u7684\u4ec6\u4eba\uff0c\u597d\u53eb\u4ed6\u4eec\u77e5\u9053\uff0c\u670d\u4e8b\u6211\u4e0e\u670d\u4e8b\u5916\u90a6\u4eba\u6709\u4ec0\u4e48\u5206\u522b\u3002\u201d
\nHowever, they will become servants of Shishak, so that they may learn the difference between serving me and serving the kingdoms of other lands.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u542c\u5230\u8fd9\u91cc\uff0c\u4f60\u5c31\u4f1a\u53d1\u73b0\u2014\u2014
\nWhen you hear this, you will notice\u2014<\/p>\n
\u795e\u867d\u7136\u7ba1\u6559\u4ed6\u4eec\uff0c\u5374\u6ca1\u6709\u628a\u4ed6\u4eec\u5f7b\u5e95\u6bc1\u706d\u3002
\nAlthough God disciplined them, he did not completely destroy them.<\/p>\n
\u4ed6\u4eec\u613f\u610f\u8c26\u5351\uff0c\u795e\u5c31\u5411\u4ed6\u4eec\u65bd\u601c\u60af\u3002
\nWhen they humbled themselves, God showed them mercy.<\/p>\n
\u4e0d\u8fc7\uff0c\u7ba1\u6559\u8fd8\u662f\u8981\u4e34\u5230\u3002
\nHowever, discipline still had to come.<\/p>\n
\u5f88\u5feb\uff0c\u793a\u6492\u7684\u5927\u519b\u653b\u53d6\u4e86\u8036\u8def\u6492\u51b7\u3002
\nSoon, Shishak\u2019s army captured Jerusalem.<\/p>\n

\nAfter entering the city, Shishak certainly did not leave empty-handed.<\/p>\n
\u4ed6\u8fdb\u5165\u8036\u548c\u534e\u7684\u6bbf\uff0c\u628a\u6bbf\u91cc\u7684\u5b9d\u7269\u5168\u90e8\u593a\u8d70\u3002
\nHe entered the temple of the LORD and took away all the treasures in the temple.<\/p>\n
\u968f\u540e\u53c8\u8fdb\u5165\u738b\u5bab\uff0c\u628a\u738b\u5bab\u91cc\u7684\u5b9d\u7269\u4e5f\u90fd\u5e26\u8d70\u3002
\nThen he entered the royal palace and took away all the treasures from the palace as well.<\/p>\n

\nHe even took what King Solomon had made\u2014<\/p>\n

\nThe shields made of gold would shine brightly in the sunlight.<\/p>\n

\nThe gold shields were gone. Surely the king could not go out without shields from then on, could he?<\/p>\n
