\n\u201cYou deserve to die, but you suffered together with my father David, and you also carried the Ark of the Lord, so I will not kill you today.<\/p>\n

\nWhen Joab heard that the king was going to deal with him, he fled to the tent of the Lord and held on to the horns of the altar.<\/p>\n

\nHe immediately saddled his donkey and went to Gath to look for them.<\/p>\n

\nAfter finding them, he brought them back and returned to Jerusalem.<\/p>\n
