\nWhen Joab heard this, he immediately felt that something was not quite right.<\/p>\n

\nIn plain Northeast-style words, Joab was basically reminding David:<\/p>\n

\n\u201cMy king, there\u2019s really no need for this. Don\u2019t make trouble for yourself.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u4f46\u5927\u536b\u5df2\u7ecf\u62ff\u5b9a\u4e3b\u610f\u4e86\u3002
\nBut David had already made up his mind.<\/p>\n
\u738b\u7684\u8bdd\u6bd4\u7ea6\u62bc\u548c\u90a3\u4e9b\u519b\u957f\u7684\u8bdd\u90fd\u5927\uff0c\u4ed6\u4eec\u4e5f\u53ea\u80fd\u7167\u529e\u3002
\nThe king\u2019s command overruled Joab and the commanders, so they had no choice but to obey.<\/p>\n
\u4e8e\u662f\u7ea6\u62bc\u5c31\u5e26\u4eba\u51fa\u53d1\u4e86\u3002
\nSo Joab and his men set out.<\/p>\n

\u4eba\u6570\u662f\u6570\u51fa\u6765\u4e86\u3002
\nThe people had been counted.<\/p>\n

\nBut after hearing the number, David suddenly felt deeply troubled in his heart.<\/p>\n

\nSo David quickly confessed his sin to the Lord:<\/p>\n
\u201c\u8036\u548c\u534e\u554a\uff0c\u6211\u8fd9\u56de\u771f\u662f\u72af\u5927\u7f6a\u4e86\u3002\u6211\u5e72\u8fd9\u4e8b\u513f\u592a\u611a\u6627\u4e86\u3002
\n\u201cLord, I have sinned greatly. I have acted very foolishly.<\/p>\n
\u6c42\u4f60\u9976\u4e86\u4f60\u4ec6\u4eba\u7684\u7f6a\u5427\u3002\u201d
\nPlease forgive the sin of your servant.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u7b2c\u4e8c\u5929\u4e00\u65e9\uff0c\u8036\u548c\u534e\u7684\u8bdd\u4e34\u5230\u5148\u77e5\u8fe6\u5f97\u3002
\nThe next morning, the word of the Lord came to the prophet Gad.<\/p>\n
\u8fe6\u5f97\u5c31\u662f\u5927\u536b\u7684\u5148\u89c1\u3002
\nGad was David\u2019s seer, his prophet.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cI am giving you three choices. Choose one, and I will bring that punishment upon you.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u4e09\u4e2a\u9009\u62e9\u662f\u5565\u5462\uff1f
\nSo what were the three choices?<\/p>\n
\u7b2c\u4e00\uff0c\u4e03\u5e74\u9965\u8352\u3002
\nFirst, seven years of famine.<\/p>\n
\u7b2c\u4e8c\uff0c\u5728\u654c\u4eba\u9762\u524d\u9003\u8dd1\uff0c\u88ab\u654c\u4eba\u8ffd\u8d76\u4e09\u4e2a\u6708\u3002
\nSecond, flee from your enemies for three months while they pursue you.<\/p>\n
\u7b2c\u4e09\uff0c\u5168\u56fd\u53d1\u751f\u4e09\u65e5\u7684\u761f\u75ab\u3002
\nThird, three days of plague throughout the land.<\/p>\n
\u8fd9\u4e0b\u53ef\u628a\u5927\u536b\u96be\u4f4f\u4e86\u3002\u54ea\u4e2a\u9009\u62e9\u90fd\u4e0d\u597d\u53d7\u554a\uff01
\nThat really put David in a tough spot. None of the choices were easy!<\/p>\n
\u4ed6\u8bf4\uff1a
\nHe said:<\/p>\n
\u201c\u6211\u771f\u96be\u554a\uff01
\n\u201cI am in great distress!<\/p>\n
\u4f46\u6211\u8fd8\u662f\u613f\u610f\u843d\u5728\u8036\u548c\u534e\u624b\u91cc\uff0c\u56e0\u4e3a\u8036\u548c\u534e\u6709\u4e30\u76db\u7684\u601c\u60af\u3002
\nBut I would rather fall into the hands of the Lord, because His mercy is great.<\/p>\n
\u6211\u53ef\u4e0d\u613f\u610f\u843d\u5728\u4eba\u624b\u91cc\u3002\u201d
\nI do not want to fall into the hands of people.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u4e8e\u662f\uff0c\u761f\u75ab\u5c31\u4e34\u5230\u4e86\u4ee5\u8272\u5217\u3002
\nSo a plague came upon Israel.<\/p>\n
\u4ece\u65e9\u6668\u4e00\u76f4\u5230\u6240\u5b9a\u7684\u65f6\u5019\uff0c\u767e\u59d3\u5f53\u4e2d\u6b7b\u4e86\u4e03\u4e07\u4eba\u3002
\nFrom morning until the appointed time, seventy thousand people among the people died.<\/p>\n

\nThen the angel stretched out his hand to destroy Jerusalem.<\/p>\n

\nWhen David saw this, he was deeply distressed.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cLord, I am the one who has sinned. I am the one who has done wrong!<\/p>\n
\u53ef\u662f\u8fd9\u4e9b\u8001\u767e\u59d3\u6709\u5565\u7f6a\u554a\uff1f
\nBut what have these people done?<\/p>\n
\u4ed6\u4eec\u662f\u65e0\u7f6a\u7684\u3002
\nThey are innocent.<\/p>\n
\u8981\u7f5a\uff0c\u5c31\u7f5a\u6211\u548c\u6211\u7236\u5bb6\u5427\uff01\u201d
\nIf punishment must come, let it fall on me and my father\u2019s family!\u201d<\/p>\n
\u8fd9\u8bdd\u91cc\u5934\uff0c\u80fd\u770b\u51fa\u6765\u5927\u536b\u5df2\u7ecf\u771f\u6b63\u610f\u8bc6\u5230\uff1a
\nFrom these words, we can see that David had truly realized:<\/p>\n
\u81ea\u5df1\u72af\u7684\u9519\uff0c\u5374\u8ba9\u767e\u59d3\u906d\u4e86\u7f6a\u3002
\nHe had made the mistake, but the people were suffering because of it.<\/p>\n
\u5c31\u5728\u8fd9\u4e2a\u65f6\u5019\uff0c\u8036\u548c\u534e\u7684\u4f7f\u8005\u5230\u4e86\u8036\u5e03\u65af\u4eba\u4e9a\u52b3\u62ff\u7684\u79be\u573a\u90a3\u91cc\u3002
\nAt that very moment, the angel of the Lord was at the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite.<\/p>\n
\u8036\u548c\u534e\u770b\u89c1\u707e\u7978\u5df2\u7ecf\u591f\u91cd\u4e86\uff0c\u5c31\u5bf9\u90a3\u5929\u4f7f\u8bf4\uff1a
\nWhen the Lord saw that the destruction had gone far enough, He said to the angel:<\/p>\n
\u201c\u591f\u4e86\uff01\u4f4f\u624b\u5427\uff01\u201d
\n\u201cEnough! Stop!\u201d<\/p>\n
\u4e8e\u662f\u707e\u7978\u505c\u4e86\u4e0b\u6765\u3002
